Ideas for boring days
* Homemade playdough recipe1 cup flour
1 cup warm water
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon oil
1/4 cup salt
food coloring (optional)
Mix all ingredients, adding food coloring last, if you like. Stir over medium heat until smooth. Remove from pan and knead until blended and smooth. Place in plastic bag or airtight container when cool. Will last for a long time.

Both cubs waited in the den for their mother to come back. The sun rose three times, when hunger finally drew them out. Buretna poked her head out, breathing in fresh air. Gingerly, she placed her paw on the ice-capped snow. She drew back with surprise.

How did you get involved in music?
Unlike most musicians, classical music was not a hereditary commodity for me. My father is a great blues and jazz musician,
and my mother played the piano when younger, but that’s about it. Music was kind of a background thing. I first became
interested in the violin at around four and a half. I was watching Mr. Rogers, as a lot of four and a half year olds probably
do, when he visited a string orchestra. I was enamored with the violins, playing away in their section.
