We use dramatic expression to convey an idea and to communicate a message to children and families. We frequently use original plays, made in a creative process based on the children's suggestions, and written by our alumnae and teachers. Our goal is for children to have fun and gain confidence by learning how to step into a character. Through the use of dramatic tools, participants develop the ability to speak up, communicate their ideas, and represent them. “At first I was afraid to do it but the teacher made it a comfortable place where I felt okay to be myself. I really liked drama and I’d do it the whole day!” –Camper, age 9
